Brenda Murphree
ClearPoint's president and lead strategist draws on over 25 years of client experience in health care, retail, manufacturing, technology, professional services, and travel and tourism. After working as a writer, PR consultant and nonprofit executive, Brenda added entrepreneur to the list in 2003 when she founded ClearPoint with the vision of providing small businesses with a full suite of integrated marketing services. She has served as founding president of the WNC chapter of the American Advertising Federation and as board member of the Public Relations Association of Western North Carolina, and has presented marketing and PR workshops for several local business organizations. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston.


Heather Schiefer
Drawing on over 15 years' experience in photography and design, Heather brings a critical eye and a versatile background to creative work for ClearPoint clients. Prior experience as creative director for a marketing/PR firm and as marketing director for an industrial machining company provided opportunities for developing great creative from both the client and agency side of the table. Her palette of skills includes website development (both html and CMS development on the WordPress platform), in addition to innovative print and web design. Originally from Western New York, where she studied art and design, Heather has been an honorary southerner since 2007.



Josh Lucas
Switching from a career in banking to search marketing might sound like a wide turn, but for Josh it was a natural expansion, an opportunity to hone his skills in research and analysis of quantifiable data and to develop precise, detailed structures for big-picture objectives. A 16-year business and marketing veteran, Josh has developed and run successful online marketing programs for national and international retailers, international software companies, consulting firms, and a large destination resort company, in addition to local campaigns for home care service providers, nonprofits and commercial real estate. Josh has a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Google Adwords Specialist.
